What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real-time using the flight number you give at booking. Your driver only leaves when your plane is on the ground. Up to 60 minutes wait is included free of charge — after that, €15 per 15 min.
Where exactly will the driver meet me at the airport?
At Lisbon Airport (LIS), your driver waits in the Terminal 1 Arrivals hall, right after you exit baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. You'll get the exact meeting point and the driver's phone number by SMS and email 24h before your arrival.
What if I can't find the driver?
Just call or WhatsApp the driver directly (number sent 24h before). If you can't reach the driver, our 24/7 dispatch on +351 962 961 304 answers in under 2 minutes and locates them for you. You will never be left stranded.
What kind of vehicle will I get?
Every Swingo ride is a clean, recent-model van (2022 or newer) with comfortable seats, A/C, USB charging and free in-car Wi-Fi. Up to 7 passengers plus 8 large suitcases. No surprises — what you see in the photos is what you get.
How much luggage can I bring?
Our standard van fits up to 8 large suitcases + 8 carry-ons for groups up to 7. Skis, surfboards, bulky items? Just tell us at booking — we'll make sure you have the right vehicle and equipment rack.
Are child seats available?
Yes. Infant carriers, child seats and boosters available free of charge — just mention the child's age at booking. Required by Portuguese law for children under 12 / under 135 cm.
What languages do your drivers speak?
All drivers are fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish, French, Italian and German available on request — tell us your preferred language at booking and we'll match you with the right driver.
Can I add a stop on the way?
For airport transfers, a brief stop (Belém pastéis, supermarket, etc.) of up to 15 min is welcome at no extra cost. Multiple or longer stops? Pick our Private Driver by the hour instead — full flexibility, your call.
What's included in the Private Driver service?
From 2 hours up to multi-day, with the driver and van at your disposal. Vehicle, fuel, tolls, parking and insurance — all included. You decide where to go and when. Tickets to attractions and lunch are paid separately by you on the day.
How do I pay? When am I charged?
Secure payment by card at checkout via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Your card is charged when you confirm. Cancellation up to 24h before = full refund.
What if something goes wrong during the ride?
WhatsApp +351 962 961 304 any time — answered by a real Swingo team member during business hours. We'll resolve it on the spot. If we can't, the ride is on us.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pickup time — full refund. Inside 24h, the booking is non-refundable, but we'll do our best to reschedule.
